| Welcome
to the Environment Care Web.
Due
to the success of our Environment Care with John
Foster Radio Program on Saturday mornings
from 8:00am to 9:00am on KKHT the Word 100.7,
we have acquired another hour of programming. We discovered
through listener response that our coverage of broader
ecological issues confused many people that just wanted
to learn about organic gardening.
We
felt that one hour a week was not sufficient time to
help homeowners with environmentally friendly plant
practices while increasing public education on broader
ecological issues. We also felt that two hours would
be too long to retain our audience's attention.
Beginning
January 15th 2005, we will be presenting two separate
programs on different stations at different times. The
call in, homeowners, organic gardening show will remain
on KKHT the Word 100.7 (Saturday s 8am to 9am).
It will be a sort of Environment Care 101 for
normal folks who want to learn better ways of taking
care of their yards.
The
new program will be on 1070AM KNTH News/Talk from
4:00pm to 5:00pm every Saturday afternoon. We will
be using this format to promote public education on
broader ecological and environmental issues such as
Storm Water Runoff. It will be a sort of Environment
Care 400 Advanced On-Air Meeting.
I
am asking folks in the Ecologically Responsible Community
to share ideas with us. Now that we have the ball rolling,
what would you like to see us doing with this venue?
Would
you listen to a caller based Saturday morning radio
program that brings in guest experts to discuss ecologically
friendly ways of taking care of your yard?
Would
you listen to a Saturday afternoon radio program that
promotes public education on broader ecological and
environmental issues with Advanced On-Air Meetings?
Would
you be willing to help us come up with interesting topics
that would make people want to hear it while at the
same time get them useful information?
Would
you be willing to be a guest on the program?
Would
you be willing to help us get the word out about the
program?
Would
you help support the program?
Thank
you in advance for anything you can do to help the movement.
